Chicken Egg update

The hatch date for batch one of my silkie chicken eggs is tommorow! Cross your fingers and lets hope for the best! The first batch (9 eggs) has been moved from the incubator into a hatcher I made them this week ( sorry no photo yet ) . The second batch (21 eggs) will remain in the hatcher for another few days, until their incubator day 18 where they will no longer be turned daily and the humidity will be increased. I will post updates if there is any news.

Egg Arrival Batch 2

The new eggs arrived and this time they were each individually bubble rapped and all but one made it through shipping. So now there are a total of 30 eggs in the incubater as you can see. I sure hope they don't all hatch. Im not very hopefull for the first set but well see. The hatch date should be July 31, keep your fingers crossed.

Egg arrival

Got home from work yesterday and found my eggies waiting on me! I had been so excited all week. The incubator was stable and waiting... Opened the box..... the pictures speak for themselves. Only 9 eggs survive of the 20.... and those aren't in great shape. Im not very hopeful at all...
